[Lowfer] 1750 meter frequency for Part 5?

Hi All,

I agree here, saying the "watering hole has all but dried up" is presumptuous and may be the result of geographical interpretation. Still if there is a bit of actuality in that sentiment it may not also hold up some tomorrow. Traditionally the watering hole served just that purpose - a gathering point for very weak Part-15 signaling. Any threat to that should be weighed carefully for the greater good.

Of course, as has been stated, one can try and see, ie, test the waters for a time.

I commend the parties for at least considering potential impacts. We should all work towards viable compromise.

Cheers - Peter

The grabbers have gone away , but the watering hole hasn't dried up . There
are at least 3 station on it 24 / 7 at the current time and 2 more that I
remember off of the top of my head that were on it during the "season" just
passed . There are also at least 2 more at least considering moving to it
also .

Charlie , W5COV
