Hi Charlie,
I also built Lyles upconverter.It works nice with my receiver for NDB and
cw stuff.However ; my Kenwood must drift too much for QRSS modes.I cant keep
it tuned in all night while searching on ARGO . Thats why Im gonna run a
downconverter and use the software I.F. I have a 170khz crystal thats dead
on so calibratiion will be a snap.
