[Lowfer] 1750 meter band skip zone

I wonder what this really is.
Because I can up here in wisconsin, listen to mane am broadcast
stations that are in that umbrella area you describe 24 hours a day.
I'm about 180 miles away from all the chicago am stations and can hear
them 24/7
