[Lowfer] What to fill the hole in with ???

Ok:  While driving in the ground rod, it was movin around alot of
course, and so the hole is wallowed out around the top, and for a
little way down in the ground. What is a good conductive " something "
that I can cram down into the hole to maybe improve contact, and
conductivity ?? Epsom Salt ? or I've read about Bentonite, maybe
Copper Phosphate ??  Any ideas ??
