[Lowfer] [part15] Beacon " XR " antenna photos

Paul and list:

Math certainly isn't my strong point, so I may really mess this
up.  First, the measured coil resistance is 5.8 Ohms, and the
measured Inductance when peaked for max RF - I is 2.24 mH
Now how accurate are my calculations ? 

Xl = 2pi * F * L :: 6.28 * 185298.66 * 2.24 = 2606.63 Ohms

Q = Xl / R :: 2606.63 / 5.8 = 449.41  ???? How bad off am I ??

Coil winding is 2 inches high.

This is now getting into the stuff that causes Brain Bog :)
