Babybottle
Hit the button on the dang Blackberry....the reason is the very lightweight but strong construction and the bottle tops/stoppers are easily modified to act as a water proof (sic) stopper for the coax. Or perhaps I just don't have confidence in the pvc tube method, akin to not seeing the color of the valve/tube anode....! The baby bottle also seems to defuse antennae inspections from the various authorities around the globe, often seen walking away with tears from hysterical laughter...
About 1.5hrs to construct on average.

I have at least 5 baby bottle models; the reasoning for this is that you can see what's going on inside

Lee ,
The AMRAD antenna uses that very expensive transistor and I have never
personally had any experience with it .
However I know a lot of us are using this antenna , designed by PA0RDT .
It is so small and simple. The mounting enclosure is about anything you can
imagine . I believe one of us on this list has one built in a baby bottle !!
Its ok he used to be my neighbor , and he is totally well I think totally
sane . <grin> He uses it all over the world , so it is a good portable
antenna too .
Here is one of the links to it :

Let me know what you think Lee.
