Paul; et All:
I made the mistake Fri. of trying to do some trimming of limbs that
were wrapping around my 160 meter leg on my Windom. In the process,
I tore the wire loose from the Balun, so being the stubborn, won't
quit till I finish the job guy. I worked and sweated, had to take
down the LOWfer ant. before I could get the HF ant. down. I repaired
the HF, and put it back up, by then it was dark, and super humid, I
put the LOWfer ant. back up it the dark using the " squint " method.
This effort was not smart !! I almost dehydrated, and the entire
weekend I was so weak. My lesson learned;; even though it's evening,
and the sun is going down; the evening heat and humidity will still
get you before you know it !! I suppose we live and learn.
