Not upset...just think we should be accurate in our reporting.
XGR/6 is running about 3 dB more power than I am - not 12 dB more power.
Guess that you probably meant to say that he's 12 dB stronger at your
location.
XGR/6 is amazingly strong at my location - we're only a couple hundred miles
apart. I'm able to receive any mode, anywhere in the band (with appropriate
frequency separation) with no problem using a modestly outfitted R-75. I've
heard a complaint or two from some using old military or other old receivers
that lack modern day selectivity. What's interesting is that these same
receivers would be virtually unusable on a busy HF band as well. No one
expects the HF operators to QRP or spread out to accommodate these
receivers.
