Hi Paul, well its is almost a negative correlation with sun-spots!
Geomagnetic activity has a much bigger effect. It doesnt get much press over
there but I publish an (almost) daily propagation report biassed towards our
136kHz band but also pertinent to 500khz and frequencies in between. The
"informed" comment is a result of about 7 years of watching LF band beacons
and a great deal of help from Brian CT1DRP. Steve WEEE, and Wolf DL6YHF, and
many others who publish reports and grabbers.
