Gee, why am I being a kid in a candy store on Mike's new PSK lashup? Heh heh But that Nue-PSK is neat.
On the home page, which is a gem to see and breeze thru, one of the shots shows one Nue scientist at a bench shared with a FT-817, Yeazu's new pocket DC-to-dawn all-mode. Yeeks all the freatures packed in a carry-along, digital modes too, one can guess it's not a "do it yerself rig to change the light bulbs in." So it's likely it's there to show compatability and interface with that of the Nue-PSk's reader and keyboard facility. (Ya, that's a mouthful.)
Lastly, also new for me, the FT-817 has a beacon mode. This is a Blackberry sized item. Wonder if it does wireless internet ;=)

I received it built from the factory. It will work with any voice rig on
any band, Lowfer, Experimental, Amateur, Pirate, hacker, etc...hi
hi...Some users have used them on 145mc FM. Haven't heard of anyone
using them on AM but it certainly would work. It modulates the
