Wow...2:47 am post about your beacon...now that's dedication! Didn't see your post until first thing 
this morning (some of us actually sleep (at night)) so tuned in first thing and caught the following 
fragments of SIW just before/after sunrise.

Generally, on long direct east/west paths, signals appear later, disappear earlier and are somewhat 
weaker than those arriving from more northerly/southerly directions. Based on this brief look I'd 
guess a full overnight run would yield excellent captures...static, QSB and propagation permitting. 
Distance ~787 miles @ 277 degrees.
