Hey Peter ,

I have Parkinson's and crippling arthritis in my hands that has a major effect on the days and times that I can solder .

I had Doug put it on the board , it was $10 extra . The rest of it I built myself .

He has step by step instructions for doing it yourself . If you have steady hands and good eyesight , I do believe a person could do it on their own .

I built a small QRP 40 meter transceiver before my condition got so advanced , that used a similar sized surface mount IC (SA612) and I soldered it myself and only had one bridge that was easily cleaned up with a small piece of solder wick .

I "might" have been able to solder it if I waited until my best day , but I am sure that would have still required a bit of solder wick .

Charlie
