It should be subtantially suppressed by the balanced modulator itself, 
enough to not be a problem.  Thus, if you are applying a single-tone sine 
waveform, and filtering out the other sideband, the RF envelope at the 
output of the filter will itself (practically by definition) be a sinewave. 
That should be easy enough to amplify and clip into the appropriate drive 
for a K0LR final.
