" XR " was on, but probably just too much noise to overcome.
I had a ball on 40 meters Sun, with WSPR. The band was good,
I repeatedly received VK6BN - Alan from Australia running 
10 watts into a 50' vertical. Right around Dark, the band went
wild with CW signals, but WSPR was still decoding. The only 
trouble was when a Big Gun would xmit nearby and pump the AGC,
that gave WSPR a bit of a problem, can't turn AGC off on TS450.
