[Lowfer] WMS beacon still off

I turned in about 0130 local this morning and hadnt seen WEB. About
midnight I looked for CV and when I returned I
forgot to reset the capture button. Oh well . I see some NDB's around the
state at usuall strength but no long distance
like GLS.
I've been playing around with my NB and NR functions on my SDR. Odd but in
the daytime there is a dramatic drop in the base line and
noise amplitude, night time it is barely noticeable. At night the
difference is notable on the argo screen, so NB is effective.
Warren wasnt on last night. I wonder how many DB Johns wolf signal is
below Warrens Qrss signal. Back in the winter I was able
to decode the higher power Wolf transmissions. Night before last I trimmed
up my calibration on XGJ for the Elektor rec.
Thanks for the report there is hope yet!

Paul,

I am hearing WEB tonight on QRSS-30 at 189.9493 kHz. First time I've
heard it for quite a few days. I know it was down for awhile but since
it's been QRV I still didn't hear it until tonight. Beacons MP and XR
are in there tonight too as I write (0700Z) but not CV. Will look for
TAG now until sunrise.
