I visited Bill about 4 years ago when I had a trip through Stafford,TX...
 Bill picked me up
and drove out to the location where his beacon is located. Bills son once
 owned the business
where the beacon is located... It is a small plant where they manufacture
 instrumentationn
cables for the oil field industry..
The antenna is a 40ft rohn tower mounted inverted on a block of teflon
 with a large top hat..
Ground radial are spaced out every 10 to 15 degrees..His transmitter is
 housed in one of those
large igloo dog houses..My only regret about the trip is I didnt have a
 camera with me.
Bill fabricated my loading coil and provided me with 2000ft teflon
 insulated wire for my radials..
WEB and MO provided me with many hours of intertainment the last 5 years.
 MO is being moved
to a new location and owner.. Hopefully that beacon will be back on the
 air soon.. Meanwhile I
do what I can for beacon hunters in the south central region..
