Hi,
Bill Bowers is quite the antenna maven. He had a zinger setup, a vertical, in OK when he lived there about 5 years back. It was written up in the LOWDOWN with a picture. Sadly, that one is gone but was reborn when Bill moved to TX, his current home. Bill got permission to erect the vertical and big ground system on someone's property with sufficent clearing. Bill's loading coils are above reproach, always Litz wire I believe. Big top hat too. Don't know about Bill's Web presence now.

Good to hear WEB is at it this season. I've copied it over the years in QRSS-30.

   Does anyone know if Bill ( WEB ) is on the net ? I am interested in the details of his station , especially the intimate details of his antenna system .
   He puts out such a good signal and I am always looking for new and better ways to improve my beacon , especially the antenna and loading system efficiency.
