That is what I use for my receive converter. I put in my own lowpass 
filter in the front end and don't use the BJT preamp stage. It is 
referenced from a 3mc oven oscillator. Been working fine for quite some 
time now. Only one failure where the mixer got nailed by the TX one 
evening but a new SA612 and she played fine after that swap. I put back 
to back 1N4148 diodes in the front end to stop any big TX signal issues.
