[Lowfer] Another Antenna question

    A couple of points.  Can't overemphasize the importants of a good 
ground.  Don't mess with helical antennas for this frequency.  I've been 
involved with two which were a lot of work to build and failed miserably 
to perform as well as a TV push up mast.  Not mine but I did help get 
them up in the air, which was an interesting excercise to say the least 
as they were wound on PVC pipe which turned out to be about as stiff as 
cooked spaghetti when we tried to raise them.
