Just occasional locks but no decode again. Probaby slightly worse than the previous nite.
I'm running WOLF and the SDR, but everthing else closed down and don't seem to have CPU load issues, in fact I can play with two instances of WOLF and seems ok.. Its a Dell 620 but not a lot of additions/accerlerators/RAM additions
Thanks for the signals John - now on the way back to 9V1 the long way round. Guess we didn't have conditions for the path and even CKN (?) On 124 kHz wasn't that strong. JJY on 40 kHz was constantly a better signal that 60 kHz with WWV weak as usual. The site holds promise but it looks like another looper given the forest.

Thanks to Hartmut (excellent copy!) and Dick for the WOLF reports from
last night. I'm not sure what happened with J.B.'s copy...none of it
looks really promising. The signal should have actually been audible
there, and WOLF copy should have been easy. Wrong frequency or BFO
frequency? Don't know!
Regarding Dick's comment about the SDR and WOLF on the same computer, I
can only pass along the observation that WOLF and some of his friends
are touchy when multitasking. But I thought that the bulk of the SDR
processing was being done on the sound card, and that the CPU load would
be reasonable. I wonder if the computer also had other tasks like email
running...
XGR/3 will be off tonight, and probably back on Friday.
