     I don't think that the $60 motivates them one way or another, its not like the FCC personnel are working on commission! 

     Best strategy for saving money is to get a 5 year license instead of a 2 year license, all that's required to get the 5 years is a sentence in the experimental description justifying the need for 5 years. All of the Part 5s I've filed are 5 years.
