Andy

All will be revealed in this excellent writeup:
http://www.w1tag.com/LF_FSM.htm

I've duplicated John's measurment and calibration setup and it works FB. To
date I've taken over 100 measurements of WD2XNS from as near as 1 mile out
to about 20 miles in about a dozen compass directions. Close in measurements
(under about 2 miles) show the largest day/week/month variations and should
probably be avioded.
