Any problems in using tapped turns on a loop to vary its inductance?

I intend this large outdoor loop to be useful on both 1650M and up to 600M. Yes, adding large caps. to a 600M loop will electrically lower its freq response. Tapped turns would help raise the inductance for 1650M work but is it a wise design choice? I'd like to avoid high using lots of C for tuning.

What's the thinking on this loopy issue?
