[Lowfer] XGR/5 Activity ?

Hi Bill,

I wouldn't worry about beaconing on 506.9kc as everyone else can move 
around as needed. I go all over the band just like regular ham radio 
chatting. Listen first, throw out your callsign and if no one replies, 
fire up the beacon. Wait until winter when you will hear many signals on 
the band at once. It sounds like a contest then...LOL...

I'll probably use this freq only when the intent is for 2-way communicating. I'm back in Andover for a couple of days and the Xmtr is off right now. When I get back to Ellsworth the plan is to send on both 506.9 and 512.3 but later in the evening on 512.3 with the keydown and regular ID so Peter and others will have a signal to look for.
