Peter,

Build this antenna this weekend. It works excellent. I have 2 of them 
with one being fixed tuned to 507kc and the other is a table top version 
with a variable cap.

It will run circles around the dipole for receiving signals on 600 
meters or any band you resonate it for. The usable bandwidth with fixed 
tuning is 100kc.
