[Lowfer] Part-15 Xtal Needs

If you are interested in constructing an exciter for the Pt 15 watering hole for about $2.00 use a 5.188 xtal (only 40 cents from Mouser, but highly stable) and divide by 28. Use a series trimmer cap to pull the 185.18 base frequency up to what ever you want. I have found that using a separate FET oscillator rather than a Cmos divider chip that includes a front end oscillator stage, is more pullable and more frequency stable. Let me know if you need the schematic.
