[Lowfer] OT 5 MHz check please

I've looked and listened to WWV on 5 MHz on and off for several hours
starting at about 4 PM today. I hear WWV fine but nothing else to speak of
(I did hear someone saying "Heellloooo, Heeelllooo" at around 9 PM EST).
There is a carrier with QSB at around 4.996 MHz and about 6 KHz below that,
there's a foreign broadcast station broadcasting in a language that I am not
familiar with. Other then that, I as Sergeant Shultz sez .... "hear nothing
... nothing" !!
Is anyone else hearing anything now?
Here's a screen print off of the SDR showing the spectrum 30 KHz around WWV
on 5 MHz even as we speak.

CODAR? That has been around since earky '81. Don't know about it
operating from bouys, I imagine they need a very stable platform, hard to
measure waves from a bouy being tossed about. The pictures of the sites I
have seen are little buildings on the shore.

It is a wave height bouy, in Long Island Sound I believe. It is a
strange sweeping signal.
