My Feit Electric CFL's sit under a 12" over hang. The fixture is a foot
below the overhang on the north side of the house. I have them hanging
at a 45 degree angle downward if that makes any difference. Definitely
the relay type motion sensor type; I can hear it click every time. The
CFL model is the 'Daylight 60 Natural'. The bad CFL flood lamps I tried
are called N:Vision soft white PAR38 90w equivalent. Do Not buy these,
they are complete junk and will fail. Plus they weigh a ton, all heavy
glass enclosure around the CFL. Probably cooked them to death. 7 year
warranty. I won't even bother getting replacements. Lesson learned.
