[Lowfer] ... with DX simulator

Hello Pete,

My location in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod, FN41sr, to Holden, MA FN42ch:
Distance = 79.3 miles, 126.6 Km
LOB to: 301 deg
LOB from: 120 deg

bearing and distance, spherical trig, calculations from BD_2004, freeware.

I need to evaluate in greater detail the 120 dB isolation. Is it real ?
What are the details of the WOLF10 DSP processing, equivalent noise
bandwidth, RBW,
processing gain, etc.

Maybe some more ferrites are needed to stop conduction on the outside of
the outer shield.

Time for some bench testing.

I am considering the connection to the utility mains, but need to do it
safely.
Maybe just a decent high pass filter is needed. Maybe a LISN ??
I suspect a lot of man made noise will be there, unless I open the main CB
and just use the de-energized house hold wiring.
The battery bank could provide the DC power needed for the RX and PC.

Stan, W1LE Cape Cod
