It was best on USB, frequency shows 507.541.
Here is the log. There seems to some font or character differences, as
can be seen by the text. The chip64 program also doesn't seem to have a
very good squelch, or I didn't set it up very well, it rambles when no
one is transmitting. I also had interference from XGR/6 calling CQ, he
is quite strong here.

ND CLOUDY. WINTER STORM WARNINGS FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW. HW NOW?
BKnjto3o oe Knsxta me4t wety2xgr/2 de we2xgr/3 got most of that. had
to reset in the middle, though. It seemed to work flawlessly while you
were beaconing, but it doesn't seem to like stops and starts, I guess.
there is a veri#sion of thi###CHI{#P by the original programmer, perhaps
its#'s more stable for decoding. I'm guessing that the encoding side is
OK. Oh, welll... wx here ifbbout the same, hadn't paid any attention to
the forecast, but will have to do so, as my commute up to Rte 2 in MA
i#can be nasty when there's a divisi##ding line in the precip. Tnx for
the warning! Boy I can't really get ahead of this buffer, no matter how
fast I type! Is any of this making it thoug###rough? xgr/2 de xgr/3

copy with a few missed characters. No dropouts even with large amounts
of QSB on your signal. You may n 7y Owell be the "fading king" on 500
kHz! Same problem here...I'm a two finger typist so no chance at all to
stay ahead. Plus the added pressure of knowing the cursor is right
behind you doesn't help. Not sure whether small or capital characters
makes a difference in this mode. Glad to get the top had refurbished
this afternoon out ahead of the weather that is going to be closing in.
Should make it through the winter...finger crossed. Damn...no possioble
way to stay ahead...So, what will be the next mode to try...something
slower I hope HI HI WE2XGR/3 de WE2XGR/2 BKEobf rQ lcyWE2XGR/2 de
WE2XGR/3 RR got all of that with a small hit in a t#deep fade. I'm
guessing that we will have the same problem with PSK31...as I recall,
its#'s tough to keep typing that fast. I'm actually a touch typist,
butt# that only works if I'm reading a page while I type. The
minit#ut###ute I try to focus on what I'm doing, I'm back in th e##e
klutz class. oh, e#ew##well... I think we should do the PSD#K31/PSKFEC31
test next, b#maybe 10 minutes of each if we don't wear our hands out in
the process. the FC#EC mode will be slower, in any case. I'm
bet#ginninn#g to remember why I liked PSK08 -- no p#trouble staying
ahear#d of it. WE2XGR/2 de WE2XGR/3 kibmx #xzfnr- *ASndm<q o

copy on this end. Should go get the wife...she types in excess of 90 WPM
although she's probably out of practice. Maybe we should just send
blocks of canned text to test out the high speed modes. Roger on PSK08.
PSK02 may be more my speed. I'm trying to type my message while reading
yours so that I have a fighting chance of staying ahead...but it isn't
long before its right at my heels!!!! Guess QRU...time to strop this
madness! WE2XGR/3 de WE2XGR/2 73 and GEEoa
ied .........we2xgr/2 de we2xgr/3 rr nice copy again. OK, so let's say
that tomorrow night at 9 PM EST we will start with plain old PSK31, nad
then switch over to PSD#KFEC31 around 9:10 if we're still viable. That
should provide a c#decent comparison for most of the guys copying, aa#s
we don't have the really long fading patterns we're used to at 137.
Anyway, TNC ##X es 73 for tonight. Go soak your hand. WE2XGR/2 de
WE2XGR/3 ge'A0 ,(Bt o)C fg iFltonhVa=v...........................R
R okay on tomorrow nights schedule. Will do some warmup exercises before
9 pm just to make sure all of the ducks are in a row. WE2XGR/3 de WE2XGR/2
