Hi John,

Yes: Continuous carrier IS favourite, as I mentioned.  But 
apart from Pt. 15 it is very likely there is an ID 
requirement.  A call, say, in 12wpm cw once-in-a-while would 
serve the purpose of real ear'ole ID whilst being as-good-as 
invisible to the long-term study.
