Hmm, so JB, is everything else the same as per your conifer-tree change?

Okay let's review, a 1,200 ft long wire tied to a existing fence row, the ground too rocky for radials so the tree tap instead, and unterminated far end...and it works. Fine.

Just wondering: can you make comparisons to the delta, former ant? Can you change the ground connection to, like was suggested, several surface wires at right angle to the fence row to effect a capacity ground (compared to the tree)?

Lastly, how does this wire do with local noise, any?

Hi John, Jay, Lowfers,

I tried something different for your tests tonite and used my newly
installed Beverage antenna rather than the 333 ft. perimeter delta.
As you'll see from the copy I'll post directly to you, it works!!
