[Lowfer] trouble

Sorry to hear, Eric.
Is it that the 40ft masts are too wormlike on erection (my guess)? Or
is it that not enough people are on this effort (another guess)?
There's a real difference in raising 30ft to that of 40ft. It seems
though that you are a good ways there. Try to recover and improve upon
whatever weaknesses. Sometimes a few days break can reveal new insights.
I urge renewed efforts. Could be there's a local ham club for weekend
labor. I was once so desperate I asked a neighbor to hold a tower
section parallel to that of my foldover tower while I on a ladder cursed
the legs together. Deed done; I'm forever in his debt, but my towers
proceeded. Lesson: Whatever, that's WHATEVER, IT takes for LowFERing.
(Ha, someone may see a plea for a higher calling here. Maybe)
Peter

Hi,
Disappointed to report that last night's attempt at raising the XFX
flattop masts failed.
