Ed , do I understand correctly that my HiFER beacon NW was actually seen?
That is really exciting. It has only been seen twice before, months ago. How
strong was it, do you have a screen capture, etc.?
How fast was the steady ramp moving? I don't think I have seen it here.
On Jan 15th I heard a CW signal on 13555 and thought it was a beacon, but it
was a bit too fast for that. I listened for a while and heard it send VVV
VVV VVV DE CER CER and later QRU? DE CER
must have been a commercial station from somewhere in the world, no?
Other things I have heard were telephone conversations in spanish around
13558 and a Japanese roundtable, Ham style. Can't remember the freq., and I
didn't know what they were saying but it sounded lighthearted.
