Mike, there's a lot of good reasons why these things didn't find wide 
acceptance even for heavily treed environments in the early lowfer days. 
They are very simple to install (well, once one gains some archery skills 
and doesn't mind a certain amount of, what shall I say ..... co-lateral 
damage <G>) but tricky to connect to unless one pays real close attention 
the turns ratios and core types. One turn on the core makes a lot of 
difference, so it helps to know what the math says. Your "4 to 8 turns" can 
be the difference between a 1w input and 16w input!
