The spectrum analyzer works OK for me. I've had some computer lockups when
using the Dazy sound-card applications, but this computer suffers from
TMS -- too much stuff -- and has problems with other software as well.

Bob's suggestion of making sure that the *Recording* inputs are enabled
should cure the problem; otherwise I don't know what to suggest. By the way,
I take a shortcut to the recording mixer controls by entering the command
sndvol32.exe -r
under the "Run" option in the Windows Start menu.
