I'm with Lyle on this.  In addition to my own set of aggravations using
Yahoo (such as no access to the files area unless you give them more
information than I care to do, and then sometimes it doesn't work anyway),
there's a lot to be said for keeping the well-known and established
presence.

If we really need a new home, though, why just jump to some prefabricated
solution from a provider whose first interest is their own commercial gain?
(Make no mistake, that is Yahoo's motivation.)  Yes, it can be done
fast...but what's the hurry?  Haste only stands to fragment the community.
Wouldn't it be better to figure out what we really want the service to do
for us, and see if we can provide it a better way?
