  sorry to hear that, which means that my diagnosis was incorrect. The 
sad fact
is that I have no other explanations for your problem. If you have 
positively checked
that your card can correctly sample at 5512 Hz, then I am at a loss of 
an explanation
why you experience such a strange behavior.

I will send you in a private note build 128 of Argo, which I have seen 
many still run,
but in the sampling area there are no differences w.r.t. the current 
build 134.
Argo does not have provisions to manually set the sampling rate. You 
could try
with Spectran or SpectrumLab to see how they work on your setup.
