I have been seeing and wondering about those things for some time now. I
am
pretty sure it is not a beacon, but it doesn't seem random either. The
leading edge seems to be coming up from a freq. much below what we see.
The
fact that we both see them probably eliminates the west coast as the
source.
I have seen other stuff like that that turned out to be voice, USB. I
haven't seen TIL here yet either, will keep looking. Thanks for the
"hole
burning" report on HiFER NW, I would be willing to put some replacement
phosphors in an envelope and send them to you, but...

	Actually it's an LCD display.  As for that stuff which doesn't appear
to be beacons there seem to be a lot of things in that general frequency
region, which isn't surprising of course.  I still wonder what the very
steadily ramping signal is.  Have been hearing it ever since I started
listening regularly.  Have captures on it but haven't figured out how to
do that.  No web site and haven't had any luck with Yahoo groups - my
password keeps bouncing and haven't wasted much time on it.

	Wonder what other reports you've had on NW besides mine and (Lyle's
?).  Keep up the good work.
