Ed,
I have been seeing and wondering about those things for some time now. I am
pretty sure it is not a beacon, but it doesn't seem random either. The
leading edge seems to be coming up from a freq. much below what we see. The
fact that we both see them probably eliminates the west coast as the source.
I have seen other stuff like that that turned out to be voice, USB. I
haven't seen TIL here yet either, will keep looking. Thanks for the "hole
burning" report on HiFER NW, I would be willing to put some replacement
phosphors in an envelope and send them to you, but...
