Hey John,
Lets go for a Part-15 tweak. I sure was pissed to find out this info today
after spending 50 bucks. He was comparing my 1w ERP that I asked for to the
1w that the Part-15 users could use. I forgot to tell him the antenna limit
makes for microwatts radiated and far from 1w.

And Eric, enjoy your 5 years worth of operating alone. You certainly got
lucky.

Well that pretty much sets up the self-fulfilling prophecy of never getting
the 136 band for amateur use. If they are worried about interference to
PLC's, but won't take their own advice and permit controlled usage, then
we'll never see the band.

I wonder what their reaction would be to a petition asking for some tweaks
to the 160-190 kHz Part 15 rules. Probably the same.
