Maybe he was just trying to help you figure out why you haven't scored any 
good distance (except for the tail-end of the last season)? ......And then 
he concluded you need some extra power to compete with the 'good guys'. <G>

Yah........  I think the real truth is that they figure if we got a 137k Ham 
allocation it would kill all the fun we are having with only 1w!
