Never had that problem... but I'm running 98, if that's part of it. Are

doing these changes with the "offset" or the "measured/displayed
frequency?"

With the measured / desplayed freq

I have centered to signal at 600 using the offset so the 
results are OK, I got a note from DEX indicating to continue
moving things down to 300 witht the same Offset. As it
is like watching paint dry to calibrate in 90/120 second dots
Iwill use it like this till I have a couple of days
