Thanks for the captures and links.

DO you suppose the fast QSB is due to the proximity of our locations?  Or
maybe because of the loop radiation pattern.
Larry Copied me one night before the antenna change. Perhaps he will see me
again.

Getting a little worried about the loop.....  It may be time to start
looking for a lot of radila wire!!

Had some positive results on USA last night on 1704.805 kHz:

The signal disappeared right after that. The wavy line was wandering around
the screen all night.

I'd guess the distance to be about 80 miles. Very difficult to get a
complete call sign, though the signal appeared somewhere on the screen at
all times overnight. The antenna was a stupid 40 meter dipole, so others
should be able to do better.
