I'm re-posting Steve's site ref. on the PLC issue as it relates to
amateur radio so it stands out on its own.

This ARRL document has additional references of studies, etc., that may
be useful for one's knowledge on this enormous issue, both for public
communications (expands it, broadens the internet effect) and for ham
users (yep, potential interference).
