[Lowfer] No LF ham band in US

From the FCC LF announcement: "...users of this band under Part 15 indicate that ARRL's proposed limits would 'wipeout' Part 15 use in the band."

I only know about the comments of one of the two gents named by FCC.  To be fair, it was about then that bashing LF/MF Experimental operation was very, very popular. 

He wrote FCC that my X-station, authorized for 1.22w ERP in New York, even if operating near 176 khz as indicated in the application, would wipe out his proposed 189+ khz lowfer beacon and completely chase away all lowfer listeners across the country.
  
By the way, not only are we separated by over 13 khz, but also by 1400 miles.

Oh, he also told FCC I was going to use a 200-foot tower. My application (FCC OET website) specified a self-imposed limit of 40 feet AGL for transmit antennas.
