In order to generate the 100 watts on 136
when that time comes I have just finished verifying my
power supply. This will generate 12,24,36 volts which will run
the G3MRF class D Tx. I got working three older computer
power supples by wiring across the 5 volt buss a 10 Ohm Resister
then connected the 12 volt leads in series, This works well but
you must keep the chassis separated from each other as the ground
becomes the - for the next higher B+. The B- is the chassis ground.
I was able to get an EZ 12 amps and maintain The output voltage
I see no reason why you couldnt wire more in series to get higher
B+ . The ones I have will be mounted on a 1X8 bread board .
makes for a nice light power supply
So the November days we have been having ,have been
some good.
HAR
keep the eyes open at Hamfests as the ones I got cost a buck
cheap power fer sure
