[Lowfer] Litz wire source??

Tom,

Litz wire, it's at least an annual topic here. Consensus is it's
expensive for the good, many-stranded stuff deemed ideal at LF, and so
it's likely avoided for a compromise choice.

However, places like Nebraska Surplus and American Scientific (?) have
offered it at moderate prices and in smaller, practical amounts. AE was
selling it a year ago as picture hanging wire!! But the last time I
looked at the NS site under "wire," they offered Litz nearly to your
spec.

There is another provider on the Web that one LowFER inquired from and
almost choked on the cost of it. So, as usual, depends how bad ya want
it. Then too maybe someone here has some to offer.

looking for some 41/7 to make up a set of coils for the
