Hi, Eric. Here's what I learned:

Electrically short loops have directionality IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE
PLANE OF THE LOOP. Keep this one in your pocket. Trust me, it will save
embarrassment in some e-mail note to the list.

To the rest of the group:
Hi, I'm back from my vacation. Seven weeks and 7,331 miles of driving.
Didn't meet any lowfers due to the driving schedule (nights) but did pass
through London, Ontario at midnight and Minnesota about 3 A.M. on different
nights.

TMO is still down. When I got home I found the loop missing from the trees
and everything buried in Ice. Most of the snow is gone now but about a foot
of ice/frozen slush still covers the ground. The amp box and the wire are
frozen in it but should melt soon.
