I have been able to copy NC sending regular CW at several placed about
100 miles out.  The receiver I used was a Grundig Satellite 700 with the
built in antenna. This was at very low noise locations.  Back when Walt,
WI, was on from South Carolina we could QSO at mid day when the QRN was
low.  Distance about 150 miles.
